There is an invocation you can use to protect your
posessions from thieves.

That invocation is this:
setalias remove stand

This means you will need another invocation if you
wish to remove something you are wearing. That
invocation is this:
clear remove

Just be sure to do the first invocation again, once you're
done changing clothing. It's an annoyance to have to use
these invocations, but not nearly as much of an annoyance
as handing over your battleplate to a thief.
