I haven't responded to your hostility, yet, because I didn't think that I would _need_ to do so. Your unchecked aggression against Our Order has and will inevitably draw Hashan and all her guilds into conflict because I am Divine Patron.

I didn't think I needed to respond to your barbaric chest beating and uncouth brutality towards the citizens of the Crown simply because the city is united. If citizens of Hashan find themselves having doubts about their Oaths to the Crown _and_ their Oaths to their individual guilds (for those of them who are members of Hashanite citizen-guilds), then perhaps they need to re-evaluate if they are fit to be a citizen of Our glorious city.

We have something that all the other organizations, guilds, and city-states in the world desperately crave - Unity. Some of these institutions have made wonderful strides towards uniting without resorting to savagery while others have not. One of the foundations of the Dark Order is Unity, and thus naturally, any organization that I Patron also adopts this by default. What guilds, besides Hashan's, are so unified? What city, besides Hashan, IS unified? And if a city or organization IS unified, which is the most tightly bound together?

Our Order is unified, your Order was (and perhaps still is) not. Am I to take this "perpetual war" of yours to be the manner by which you have chosen to unite your Order? For I can tell you that there are many less tasteless methods which exist to accomplish this end. Merely look to how Pentharian has looked after his flock. By the nine hells, I'll even explain My methods to you if I am approached in a less rude manner.

I can be quite civil when approached in the proper fashion. Do you not recall My civility when you hungered for the Patronage of the Infernals a few years ago and how I aided you in acquiring them? Of course, I had throttled you soundly prior to that as well, but that is beside the point. So you see, Aegis, I've no need to demonstrate My superiority by participating in a pointless "perpetual war," although you can count on Hashan and the Dark Order being unified in the face of your cruelty.

Of course, I realize that the tone of My post will incite you to further acts of feral depravity, but then, I'm infamous in the Garden for My "mouth", am I not? Have fun with your "perpetual war" Aegis. I know I have had similar fun numerous times in the past.
