the Occultists

Those of the Occultist guild have been heir to a long line of those who
are masters at the art of propaganda, and despite the fact that the gift
seems to have dissipated over the past hundred years since Servelan's
youth, you show remarkable aptitude for it.
I don't necessarily agree with Murlune's assessment, since I've learned
much since my days of declaring every non-believer a heathen, but I've
never met an Occultist who didn't oppose the Church -- unless, of course,
they have been driven mad by the chaos that they dabble with. And that's
exactly what it would have to be, for the very practice of necromancy
is one of an evil nature.
