Shame on You

While having attended what I thought was a private social tea held
by Epicurus, indeed, Gawain, Haidion, Buckthorn and myself attended and
we spoke of many things. Haidion obviously thought his little "joke" ought
to be shared with the rest of Achaea. Fortunately, being an Occultist, which
is synonomous with scholar, I too have logged the entire event. Haidion's
clever, moderately deceptive attempt at editing his jocular attempts to
goad me will not be revealed in its entirety:

Master Druid Haidion says, "Do you use other organs from these children, apart
from their hearts?"

You say, in Achaean "Of course not!"

You say, in Achaean "Wait that was a trapped question."

All reality shudders as the voice of Sarapis, the Logos thunders across the
land, "Must go. Bye!"

You mutter discontentedly.

The corners of Buckthorn's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

You say, in Achaean "We use no organs from children!"

Master Druid Haidion laughs uproariously, wiping the tears from his eyes.

Sir Gawain, Blade of Faith chuckles long and heartily.

You glare angrily at Master Druid Haidion.

Sir Gawain, Blade of Faith chuckles long and heartily.

Master Druid Haidion says, "You've admitted you use their hearts."

You say, in Achaean "No your question decieved me, i didn't listen to it
thoroughly before answering."

You give a pained sigh.

The "argh" that Haidion posted at the end of his clever edits actually came
much later in the conversation and I have suppressed posting all of the
contents of that discussion since it concerns matters that I hope these
gentlemen present will agree were meant to be private. I think most people
will agree that Haidion presented a "Catch-22" question in that if I answered
"yes" or "no" I'd be damned either way. With the spicy teas that Epicurus
brews, my mind did not catch it until after I spoke. With the general jovial
reaction from all present, I think matters are pretty much clear that it
was all meant in good humor, albeit at my expense. Of course, I like a good
laugh like everyone else and didn't give the matter much thought until, of
course, Haidion decided to publicly present his edited version. Shame on you,
Haidion, for professing neutrality and yet using such deceptive and
manipulative means to besmirch my good name, tactics worthy of a Serpentlord.
I hope Gawain and Buckthorn are gentlemen enough to support me when I say
that I thought the whole discussion was in good humor and truly was caught
by Haidion's tactic of his "Catch-22" question. To settle matters once and
for all -- The Orphanage does not harm children in any way, does not kill
children, does not take their hearts or any body parts, and is only striving
to nurture the young souls of Achaia. Haidion, please in the future be a
little more forthright and less of a yellow journalist when reporting
events. Others keep track of logs and may again uncover your little ploys.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Ero, in the year 177 AF.
