I just want to congradulate Shallam today on once again showing us how evil they can be. Sartan unleashed a small horde of demons to attack a specific point in Shallam and kidnap Xianty. Andelas, myself and a couple others stood at the gates. Riled up by the demons and seeing us there the Shallamese predictably attacked, failing to catch any of us but being split up long enough for the fiends to kidnap Xianty. Bravo, Shallamites.

As if that wasn't enough, Sartan twisted Xianty's soul and turned him into the daemon Xian. Following the capture and mutation of their pacifist Vizier, the Shallamese honoured his memory by losing their minds and attacking Ashtan like so many rabid dogs. While the Shallamese attack mob was swarming around Ashtan's gate, Xian was killing Shallam citizens left and right. Eventually the survivors went back to Shallam and killed Xianty, though only half their number left Ashtan's gates and only half of those survived the battle with their Vizier.

Can it get any better? We'll see. Perhaps the best has yet to come.

In a way it's tragic. Though he was misguided, Xianty had more strength in his convictions than any other Shallamite I've yet to meet.

I've heard rumors though... that the Church was conspiring against Xianty? Against the son of Oneiros? Abandoning the body and ideals of Xianty, infiltrated by Twilight, made fools of by Sartan... perhaps the end of the Church is finally drawing near.

Hopefully those of you who survived today's ordeal will have learned something- there is no peace, there is no good, there is only us and them. You who haven't yet, there in Shallam, should consider defecting from it like all of the other great people have been doing. Follow the lead of your former Sultan and embrace the ways of Evil and War, for they are the truth of this world!
