First, I apologize for not knowing that "knurled" is an archaic form of
the word "gnarled". If I make a mistake, I'm the first to admit it. I'm
always pleased to learn new words, however obscure they might be.
As for what constitutes drivel, I will leave it for others to decide
whether your scrawls or my writings truly fit that definition. Frankly,
I am not worried on that regard, especially from the feedback I've been
getting.
Now, getting to logic, it appears from your borderline hysterical and
convoluted ramblings that you truly do not like what you perceive to
be fanatics. I mean, you REALLY don't like fanatics. In fact, perhaps
its safe to say, anything that smacks of fanaticism must be destroyed.
Perhaps you should start a movement to band together a group of like
minded "neutral" brethren and stamp your definition of fanatics off
the face of Achaea. Kill all fanatics! Hmmm, seems to me, and perhaps
even Gawain might agree, that you are becoming what you most despise --
a fanatic who is fanatical about other fanatics! Yes, we're talking
about someone who is fanatical about their neutrality.
Finally, you seem to be aware of some of the hidden knowledge of the
Occultists, namely the transmutation of certain life essences. This,
you have obviously determined, no matter how the ritual is performed,
constitutes what you perceive to be "evil". That's fine; I'm not going
to argue the point. However, by pointing to my professions specific
skills, you are opening your own Serpentlords up to the same scrutiny.
Many might conclude that any being who warps and twists their own form
for the sole purpose of secreting venoms, the like of which is not known
in any natural kingdom are the epitome of evil. No matter how these twisted
souls might proclaim their neutrality, it cannot change the fact that they
have twisted and mutated their "natural" form into a gross malignant
monstrosity. Also, the last time I looked, the Serpentlords are synonomous
with "assassin" and some might rightly conclude that assasination is an
"evil" art.
I'm not going to belabor the point, but before you start concluding that
one profession is evil by the skills they learn or acquire, look first
at your own. But perhaps I am missing the logic of it all.
