'attacks' again

I have just been discussing the Tyger/Grifter/lots of other people attacks, and my other post about them with a wise and respected Achaean. It has come to my attention that my previous post comes across as offensive to the Church and Shallamese in general. I'm not sure if everyone else was affected the same way the person I talked with was by my post, I just thought maybe I could remedy the situation.
I never, never, meant to insult or dishonour either Crius, the church or Shallam by voicing my opinion on the attacks. I wanted people to consider the whole situation arbitrarily as if there were no connection to politics. Is it right that a person (try and pretend that we are not talking about Tyger) should be murdered by 2 other people (not necessarily Karmia and Desden...I think thats what his name is) without being issued a fair challenge?
I have heard the excuse that sole Shallamese have been attacked by these types of gangs many times, and that we have no alternative but to retaliate. But are we justified in our murders by the actions of others? No, we are not. The phrase "two wrongs dont make a right" is an undeniable cliche, but that does not mean that it has nothing to offer. Shall we become what we seek to avoid, what we criticize in Asthanites, or other anti-shallam gangs?
Please realize that I am not defending Ashtanites and bashing the church or Shallamese, I am not defending Tyger and bashing Grifter or Crius, I am merely defending some sense of good and speaking against what is considered wrong. I just wanted to voice my opinion that perhaps Shallam has strayed closer to evil than is realized, in an effort to fight it.
