Wait a tic, I honestly dont see how Infernal Squire Tyger can possibly
be criticized in this matter.
At any rat, he certainly didn't "attack him (Grifter) without giving
him ample time to prepare". Tyger offered the challenge (oh, by the way, refer
to public post 7883 if you have no idea what this is about)
and then gave Grifter 10 seconds to prepare himself, immediately after which Grifter attacked him.
I also object to Tyger's challenge being called "a blatant attack to kill someone while they were at a disadvantage", or at least the way you present the phrase. But all things considered, that's what fighting actually is. I got the impression, from reading the transcript, that Tyger was attempting to determine whether or no the group of fighters would kill him after he had offered a challenge to one of them, as they had with Jarik.
But even if Tyger's victory over Grifter had been unfair, that still doesn't excuse the murder of Tyger by Karmia and Dresden (I believe that's who it was....my apologies if I am mistaken). In order to avenge the death of Grifter, they should have issued a challenge to Tyger, and killed him in fair combat. Or Crius, do you condone the same behavior in Karmia and Dresden that you would criticize in Tyger?
If anyone could help me with writing a post I'd be grateful, my lines keep on getting cut off, etc. and I've read all the help files on here and it doesn't help me. I'm sure y'all had noticed....*grin*
