The Combat Rankings.

I think that some sort of governing body, perhaps even a clan, needs to be formed in order to better enforce the rules of ranked combat.

I am trying to get involved in the rankings, but so far the only person brave enough to compete against me has been Silverlock. Everyone else either comes up with some sort of excuse every time I ask, or as in the case of Calhoun flat out refuses to because he doesn't want to lose. I'm too busy to do it myself, but perhaps a clan could be made that forces people to accept challenges up to a reasonable level. It could be like a "Gladiators Guild", and the people in it would pay some dues in order to ensure that it gives everyone fair treatment in the rankings. If it were to be a neutral organization made up from people of all walks of life, it could then use political as well as physical preasure to keep ridiculous things such as a top ten ranked fighter who's killed 40 newbies in the arena from becoming too prominent.

Zero, Archon.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Glacian, in the year 267 AF.
