I believe that one's race should not come into play when dealing with issues of concern to a general body, especially when that body, Sapience, is comprised of a drove of different races. Why is one singled out to stand above others when the issue deals with all? I realize, as I have said already, Zbniebniz that you hold a special interest in the plight of the Mhun and I am sure that we can all empathize with the Mhunnish history. However, concerning the new Venom Laws, I do not see that these should matter. Be you Mhun, Rajamala, Horkval, Troll... you are bound by the Law.
The issue of race has come into play here because you, Zbniebniz, have brought it to the table. You reference time and time again the Mhun, and though I acknowledge the connection that can be seen from your perception of the situation within the Serpent-class, I fail to see the signifigance of bringing the issue up repeatedly. I do not believe that the issue of race would have come into play at all in this if it had not been for you.
As I also mentioned in my previous post, the back and forth nature of this board gets nasty very easily. You misunderstood Silverwisp initially, and responded in a very abrasive manner. I cannot really blame her anymore than I blame anyone for poking you where it hurts, so to speak. Look now, you are quite bothered, it is obvious. My guess was this was her intention, to get a rise from you. And you have not let her down, I am sure. For all of your speach on maturity and learnedness, you make quite an error by stooping to her level.
As far as your accusations of me distorting information, I did not such thing. To repeat myself *again* I was clarifying for you her initial sentiment, though clearly you did not understand it, though Glade did, which was that one must be objective when looking at a given situation, and cannot let personal loyalty, be it to race or other, interfere with what should be an unbiased opinion.
And to sum up, I did ignore the pety insults, as you should have. If Silverwisp is really as you say, why do you dignify her with responce? Concerning your further allegations against her, I cannot speak for the Serpentlords, but I shall take liberty to speak for Hashan. We are a city of free thought, and should she choose to dislike this or that and voice to to all ears, that is no disgrace to us. She is a fine citizen, and serves us well. I request that you take no further liberties in Hashan's name.
