Ok, let me get this right. You want us to remove the shrines from Ashtan, because you view them as an aggressive measure?
I can almost understand this, except for the fact that I have never in my life seen them used for anything except self-defence. I however have seen innumerable aggressive acts on the part of you CPA members.
One such instance (AFTER your ultimatum) involved a kharon attacking a priest AT SHALLAM. And we do not need the shrines solely for protection. I hope this doesn't hurt your ego too much, but many things we use the shrines for HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU OR YOUR COMMITEE! And the Ashtan shrine's location is quite convenient for many of these needs.
Also, understand when I say the Ashton shrine, I am referring to the one on the HIGHWAY, OUTSIDE OF ASHTAN'S WALLS. As for the Cyclade shrine, I have rarely visited it and never used it.
I find it amusing that this CPA is trying to make the Church into the criminals, as if we are the ones hunting down Occultists for no reason.
You have said that anyone "caught" sanctifying the shrine will be slain, but as I have been slain dozens of times by now CPA members, I see that I'm due quite a few sanctifications.
If you are wondering why we are resisting your efforts, I can only speak for myself, but there are several reasons. First, I do not appreciate being threatened and killed before I have taken any action. Another is that you have not yet provided me with any TRUE reason that the shrines are a problem (trust me, the "because I said so" only goes for parents). I have heard very few people say they have a problem with the shrine, and it seems to me that many people are merely agreeing with you because your campaign of lies and threats has been all too succesful.
Finally, a point to ponder:
You say you are threatened by the shrine's presence, yet "all the shrines in the world will not protect us from YOU"...
