Forging stuff and rurin.

If you ever weaponprobes a weapon or armour that rurin sells you
would see why we don't care about him. Indeed his existence
solves the issue of newbie availability. Rurin's forged items,
henceforth refered to as "le crap" are about 1/3 to 1/8 as good
as those maxed by a trans forger, newbies don't need much damage
to kill those little rats, though. So they are welcome to le crap
shortswords and splintmail, etc. Those looking for quality products
will have to pay more now. Why you ask.
Forging items is the most time consuming and expensive of any of
the crafts by several orders of magnitude. Once made these items
last for a very long time. We feel these prices better reflect
what they are worth, not nessaccarily what you want to pay.
I'm sorry that you don't like to pay more money, but neither do I
like to pay so much for enchants and venoms. We learn to deal with
these problems. I think you will find that most of you wont be
affected much by this change. The small group of you who buy 30-
40 whips and dirks at a time will, however, have to cut back.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Lupar, in the year 267 AF.
