As azhrarn pointed out for about the nth time since ashtan has been
claimed and reclaimed, purged of evil by the church, cast in eternal
shadow by the occultists - it is not claimed in any way by the Serpents.
Each serpent is free to live where they wish, if a few choose to live
in cities far and near this does not mean they are staking a flag next
to everyone else's.
Just because a number of the church have moved to Shallam does not make
it a holy city, just as because the occultist's situate themselves in
Ashtan does not mean it is a pit of evil. The chruch may escape to
Nirvana for peace, the occultists to the Chaos plane, the rest of us
have to live here permanently and a bulliten board full of machoism
really does give one a headache. If you people can see no recourse
to your actions but fighting then fight, but we have all read these
same arguments from both sides over and over - the pious church, whose
shrines are only for peaceful measures but can pack a vision of Hell,
The occultists whose entities must be summoned using precious essence,
but are easily ordered to kill with a snap of fingers. You see yourselves
as opposing sides of a force wishing to destroy each other - no matter
what terms you use to describe this. As for the PCA - I hear only the
voice of Mausolus, am I to believe this is a one voice council, where is
the voice of the kharon?

Ah well, quarrel as you must and i know this post shall not cause
either side to refrain from their idle threats, or macho boasts. But
one thing i would like to make clear, leave the affairs of the serpents
to the serpents do not drag us into your personal feuds with realms of
pathos.
