Pricing

Higher priced don't always been higher profits. The purpose of lowering
a price in most situations is so that more people will buy your product.
For example, while one person could make 10000 gold selling a dagger (Just
for the sake of the example...) they'd be making a profit of 9000 gold or
somehwere around there...However, they'll only sell one occasionally. Mean-
while, the second shop owner might be selling his daggers for 5000, and wont
turn as much of a profit...until people see the cheaper price and buy two or
three.
This process will continue and its a matter of finding just the right price
which isn't too expensive, but isn't too cheap either. By making set prices,
you're eliminating the competition. You'd might as well just have one shop
that sells venoms, one shop that sells forging stuff, and split the profits
between anyone who contributes to the shop. =O
Just something to think about
Yours Truly, Glade "Former-Forger-Buyer-Guy" Ceadanach
OOC: You're also eliminating a lot of fun and taking away the challenge
of running a shop yourself and seeing if you can turn a profit.
Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Valnuary, in the year 267 AF.
