Just because some of us are enemies doesn't mean we have to hate each other. There was a time when I immolated everyone I bested in combat, but as I was almost never returned the favor I eventually stopped doing it. Now however that Church members gain devotion from immolation it is (even more so than before) in everyone's best interests to immolate the fallen.

Imagine if always immolating the defeated were a common curtesy? We would all be so much, well, happier. This might sound strange coming from a so-called Lord of the Damned, but then I'm not the one who placed the curse on myself and most of my friends and family.

I just want to say that, personally, I will always do my best to immolate anyone who immolates me, even if said person just attacked me with say half a dozen other people.
