Valois' pledge is honourable, but it should be unnecessary as it is never the role of the Church to use a shrine as an offensive weapon. I never have and I never shall. I will only use the shrine as a weapon if I am attacked by someone.
Here is my pledge:
I will never use the Ashtan shrine to attack any player.
I will use the Ashtan shrine to defend myself or any other Church member who is attacked.
Forever and ever, amen.
