Neutrality, for thoose who choose it

In the wake of the requests of the CPA already, threats have been thrown, brave vows taken, yet.. little diplomacy had yet been seen, however, in a recent discussion with the CPA, I, a citizen of Shallam, managed to arrange with them a few terms, for citizens such as myself, whom wish to distance themselves from this conflict.
1. The shrines of Ashtan shall not be used by those agree to this pledge
2. The shrines shall be neither sacrificed too, or sanctified by, those whom agree to this pledge.

A rather simply 2 terms.. but why some may ask, are they neccesary, after all.. surely all church members will gladly die to protect the "defensive" shrines of Ashtan.
Many members of the church.. do not view shrines as either offensive, or defensive tools, but as tools used, to aid, to help, a covenant between the church, and those whom dwell within a reigion, to seal.. a trust.
It is a very important trust.. a trust to help and never to hinder, to care for the bodies and minds of those nearby.. whenever they wish to ask for help, to ask for assistance.
Ashtan has made it clear in the past, and has made it clear once again.. that this is not the state with our shrines, that they are in fact, an unwelcome intrusion, this.. to me at least, and I feel some others, is unacceptable, not the viewpoint that the shrines are unacceptable, but the forcefull insistance that the shrines remain, despite such feelings of the local populace, above all.. the church mud aid those whom ask for it, and leave in peace... those whom want that as well.
I shall be the first, to take the pledge I mentioned above, I urge those Shallam citizens who feel as I do, to do the same, if you must choose sides.. between doing what is morally right.. and protecting a material.. thing, I urge.. choosing the right.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Chronos, in the year 194 AF.
