Perhaps it was not made clear enough...
Knight Probates are prohibited from engaging in combat with others (except mobiles), except for the use of the Arena; this includes sparring.
The4y are not, however, prevented from defending themselves should the need arise; so no, Nita, we are not declaring "open season" on probates, rather we are telling you that they are prohibited from sparring and the like, and we are asking you to respect that and refrain from asking them to do anything against that policy.
