The City's stance on Thera has nothing at all to do with any request (singular) you may have made to meet with me concerning issues of our two cities. I know nothing of any of these rumors of wars and alliances you've heard of. You'd think the Seneschal would know, eh? I may be the City's leader, and I may speak for the City, but I do not determine the spirit or values of the City, the citizenry does that. The citizenry wishes to aide Thera. I set no posture for war, I haven't that power. I merely stated the wishes of the citizenry. We will aide Thera. If that requires making you leave Thera in a timely manner, then so be it.
