First, what Shallam strike force uses Thera as a keep? By my count, their current warrior count is less than 5. If all of Ashtan is rocked back on its toes by these handful of people enough to slaughter and kill a leader of a city that is essentially none of your business, then Ashtan is much weaker than I had previously thought....
Second, let's say your claim is correct, and Thera has been used the whole time to wreak havoc upon your numbers *snicker*, then what good would claiming it do? Are you going to incorporate some archers and telepaths in the heartland of most traffic routes? No. Are you going to destroy Thera and wipe if from the maps? No. What then? Are you going to lay waste to a peaceful town, bringing the armies of bloodlust, and powersluts to the fray, unwielding the 'mighty' power of which you hold to further your own agenda, and then have the audacity to claim it's Shallam's fault? Yeeeeess!
Third and finally, I have yet to see any Thera citizens suffer at the hand of skirmishes between Shallam and Ashtan. I dont see you fighting Cyre, then in the middle of the battle, leaving to search for a Theran child, or priest to kill.... In fact, if anyone is guilty of killing Therans, it those AGAINST Shallam who need a quick alignment drop to prevent Deliverance, and Force. I have seen it many times.
So, you dissapoint me with your explanation of 'peace' and 'It's Shallam's fault'. Perhaps you could own up to the *actual* truth which is known already by all, and admit to the barbaric, and evil intent of Ashtan to secure as much control over the rest of the land as possible. Thera first, but who's next? Shallam? Hashan? The Forests? Azdun? The list is endless, and I'd rather leave the Therans to decide who should and should not be their ruler.
