My thoughts

First I think it is a little sad that all people can think of as insults are references to OOC disabilities. I'm probably taking a somewhat dangerous step here, but if I wrote a post and all people could think of to disparage it with was that I am slightly autistic, I would be most annoyed.
Also, my desire for a RAGE board, which was seconded by several others, seems no more heeded and all the more needed. (Excuse the rhyme, and I'm sure that Lord Sarapis *is* busy, despite what my post might imply.)
About my probably well-known desires for peace. This does not make me a weak, lily-livered follower of Oneiros, despite what anyone might say (and they have), but instead, think of it is this way - war only creates suffering, destruction, and chaos.
While suffering is indeed Lord Sartan's way to weed out the weak, and an excellent way to do so, Chaos already has vast numbers of followers, and the followers of Law need not help their case.
As for Thera, I seem to remember that Shallam (and this is no slight towards my former city) protects Jaru and Shastaan. I was with Natyatha that time she protected Ashtan's interests, and I can vouch that the blacksmith did decry against Lord Sartan's noble city.
"Greatness is merely the pursuit of dominance over others." Ashtan desires to be great, and as the mayor foolishly decried Ashtan, the city stepped in and re-established order. The blacksmith was obviously a protege of the mayor, as he now continues her misguided "resistance". Shame on you blacksmith, you provide a needed service for Thera - back down from your sadly mistaken goals, and the village you claim to protect will not need the hassle of hiring a new blacksmith.

May the Elements protect you, and may Evil be strong in your life.
