Today, a trial took place concerning Eve's beliefs. As you may or may not know, she was a follower of Eris, the goddess of Chaos. This issue was raised when Vandron asked what to do with the children in Ashtan.
Eve told him to bring them to the Orphanage, to which I responded by telling Vandron what happens to the children there. Gaia became involved in the discussion, and Eve was resentful to that. Gaia questioned Eve's loyality to our
guild, and so called Deucalion, God of Justice to preside over a trial to find out where her loyalities lay.
Through this trial, it became quite clear that Eve's loyalities were primarily to Eris, and that Eve would not work to help preserve the Balance, but instead work towards Chaos.
As you may or may not know, our primary goal as a guild is to maintain the balance in the land. If you cannot work to those ends, as Eve admitted she would not, or could not, then this is not the guild to be a member of.
Now, as Treant adequately stated, Eve's actions were not the focus of this trial, but her motivations. You are free to act as you will, as long as you do not harm other Druids. But if your intentions are incompatible towards the
primary goal of maintaining the balance, then perhaps you should not be a Druid.
If there are any questions or concerns about what has happened, please speak with me, or Vivien, or even write onto this board.
