With the foul murder of our beloved Mayor by Ashtan (let anyone who claims Ashtan is not evil witness this naked aggression against we who have never instigated anything against Ashtan), I have been chosen to be Thera's temporary leader, until such time as we can afford to pay for the resurrection of our Mayor.

Our statement on Ashtan's aggression is as follows:

Thera has always opposed the evil pit that is Ashtan. Since time immemorial it has been a city inhabited by those utterly without redeeming social value and completely without honour. That they would slay, in cold blood, our Mayor, is fine evidence of this.
We utterly reject Ashtan's claim to dominion over Thera, and we call upon all in the land to rise against Ashtan and bridle them before their pathetic ambitions get us all killed.
