Hello Darlings!
As those of you who know me well will know, I have strived toward Godhood for many years. I will continue to do so until my use in the land has been spent. It is not something to be taken on a whim and indulged for a short time, it is a commitment to the world one serves and to the Gods one comes under.
Tarah was a wonderful Goddess from our perspective. She was kind, fun and very approachable. However there is more to being a God/Goddess than interacting with mortals. Maybe the more tough side of being a Goddess took its toll on her and pushed her away from the idea. However, none should strive towards immortaldom without realising the great strain that the position can put on a person. Being a God is not all freeforalls and orders. there's a lot of hard work and time involved. For those of you that strive toward Godhood as I do, consider the responsibilities and the effort that go into making a God great. It's not all fun and games I am sure.
I may never make it to being a Goddess, but I know that I have tried, and I have tried in the spirit of one who is willing to make the sacrifices needed to be a good God. If someone makes it who is less dedicated, and who understans lss of what being a God is about, then I feel cheated. But if there are great Gods like Twilight and Sartan to show me that there is hope in my struggles, I will continue. I would not want to be an Immortal if just anyone could make it. I want to be there because I am worthy of the title.
Strive for Godhood, but don't expect to get there for any other reason than that you deserve it, and that the other Gods see you as suitable. And if you make it, take it seriously. It's not a toy.
I hope I haven't bored you too much with my rantings
