I am Duran LiatZhu, Master Heir of the ZhuTreu family Saeryn clan of Parikan. In regards to the previous post (7288), it is true that there is such a thing as the Golden Rose. I cannot say much of it, but what I can say is of the following:

In Parikan, during the arrival of the Morning Star in Sapience, the presence of a Golden Rose beheld a young boy whose name was Rejen. One year later, this boy was sacrificed to the Rose, and through it's essence Aphrodite the Goddess of Merchants, came into the land. It was thus that the Great Trade Runs of Parikan became famous. Ships were built at an alarming rate and the increase of trade made the land of Parikan rich in commerce and in tourism.

Now in this new year, it seems like the Golden Rose has made it's way to this land. My niece Dauphine has been showered by it's presence and has become some sort of spokesperson and protector of the Golden Rose. No one will know of the Golden Rose's true nature, until it has truly shown itself. Time will tell...

Although I was born in this land instead of Parikan, I know much of it. If you would like to know more of the land west across the Sapphire Ocean, please contact either myself, my brother Erdrick, or my cousin Wallace. Wallace does come from Parikan, so he will know more of the current history than I do.
