Shallam law at its finest

For a while now, I have been attacking Cyre. He teamed me once with
Tarlin, so I figured I owed him a couple of deaths. Just recently,
I was walking through Shallam to buy some moss. While passing through,
I saw Spratus (a guild mate of mine) killed by one of the Shallamese.
I picked up Spratus' corpse off of the ground and then immolated him
at the tree. Cyre branded me an enemy of Shallam for this and said
that it was considered "theft". I then read the laws at the gates of
Shallam, and this is what it says- Any theft, successful or not,
from any person or store within the city walls is considered a crime
against Shallam. Was Spratus' corpse on a person? No. Was Spratus' corpse
in a store? No. Cyre says that the corpse was considered the property
of the person who killed him or her. I have had over 20 Shallamese take
my corpses and say the exact opposite. They say it's their duty to help
their guildmates, and that the corpse ISN'T my property. I ask Shallam to
make up their mind. Cyre is using this extremely grey area to brand me
an enemy of Shallam. I attacked nobody, I killed nobody, and I've never
been an enemy of Shallam for longer than one hour. I've always made it a
point to keep my fights outside of Shallam, ask ANYBODY. Now, all has
changed. Until Cyre realizes his extremely biased decision and brands
me an ally of Shallam, I will start hunting my enemies when they are in
the Basilica, I will hunt my enemies when they are in Shallam, I will
hunt you no matter where you go. For all those people that have comitted
crimes against me, for all those people that have teamed me, and called me
names, the time of atonement is here. You are not safe in Shallam anymore.
Thank your leader, Cyre, for making this biased decision, and thank him
when the Basilica is not considered a safe haven anymore.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Miraman, in the year 262 AF.
