Regarding article #7170, "Plea for Peace"

Written by: Raajin Lucoster
Date: Friday, November 3rd, 2000
Addressed to: Santra Unit Zero, Warlock Profanus

Considering myself a reasonable and chivalrous individual (though I'm frequently told that this is merely arrogance on my own part), I would normally respect the right of an aggressive party to withdraw formal declarations of hostility, and leave it at that.

In this instance, howe'er, the repeated public slanders, attempts at physical ambush, and repeated evidence of a lack of trustworthiness which you and your compatriots have directed towards myself and the Knights who stand with me has drastically altered the equation.

For these reasons, I regard your plea for peace as insincere. Further, I consider it nothing more than an attempt to bide your time under a shabby guise of a cessation of hostility, that you might attempt to reinforce your numbers for the purpose of striking at a later date, in the hope that time might increase your chance for success.

If you have a true desire for peace, then dissolve your organization, confine your activities to the interior of your city, and trouble myself and my Knights no longer. Perhaps, over the course of time, that will gain you the peace of anomynity which you claim to seek.

In the interim, howe'er, the Battalion and I shall continue to consider yourself and the Santra, or Lin'Quei (or whatever you choose to call yourselves on any given day of the week) as a hostile group with hostile intentions, and shall respond accordingly.

-- R. Lucoster, Captain of the Exodus Battalion

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Mayan, in the year 261 AF.
