Whilst conversing with my guildmates, we happened across a
a possibility so distressing that I thought I must share. This
is only speculation at the moment, but after searching the swamp
immediately after the abduction of the ratmen, only to find that
they had indeed been taken there, I cannot ignore any hunches any
longer. As most of you already know, using crystals from our
Master Crystal, we are able to create small short lived portals
from one location to another. My fear is that with the greater
power of all three guilds MC's entire, that larger, more durable
portals could be created. And used to allow passage of great
numbers of people. Or of an army. Three crystals were stolen.
There are three cities. While before my time, I have heard
accounts of an attack upon the Basilica in which portals were
opened to allow the invading force entrance. If Vexlore is
correct and the church stands in the way of Kroul's march,
then they may again be upon the front lines. Again, this is
only speculation, but I cannot remain silent if it may save
us all.
