...and a good debate doth arise

Standing up for what you believe in... well, there seem to have been
a few convictions made about other people's character. Yet, I have seen
few make any good points. Vexlore had truth in what he said. Where
are the Tsol'aa now that there village has been destroyed? Where are
the survivors? They fled, they've hidden, they cower rather than working
to find their foe. Cyne had a good point aswell, perhaps it is more
'tactical' for their prince to be safe... though perhaps he should take
lessons from the other leaders in Sapience. I do not believe I've ever
witnessed a Sultan, Overseer or Seneschal in hiding while they sent their
allies to do their work.
One thing I do have to ask however, Taranis made a point in his post,
though I'm quite sure he didn't mean to make it. Who is to judge another
persons character. Taranis stated that because Vexlore was assisting a
few Church members, he was in fact going against what he 'stood for'.
Unless someone in Sapience is trying to once again claim they know what
Darkness stands for, that writing was quite ignorant in itself.
With all that being said, here is a fact I'm sure the Druids haven't
let you all know. I have been told that the Druids guild was warned
about this happening. The Guildmaster was told of a dream in which what
happened in the Aalen took place, a premonition. Yet, noone took to arms
to prevent it. Noone heeded the warning, their only responce was 'What
am I supposed to do about it?'. If we wish to ask people why they aren't
standing up for what they believe in, perhaps the Druids should be
asked aswell. Where were you when the warning came up? Ahh, yes, most
of you were out there slaying those very same beings for the experience
of their death.
....but then, in Achaea, irony has always been a nasty adversary rearing
it's head at the most unexpected times.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Sarapin, in the year 258 AF.
