Phobus and Demius.

Greetings,
A couple things I feel inclined to touch on from your post.
Firstly, the name Demius. If I translate correctly, and
forgive me if I err, that name is derived from an archaic
tongue and means "Terror" or "Panic". I would agree
with you that Phobus is likely the elder of the two, as
fear must enter the heart before it can be spurred
onto terror. The sons of War, indeed, and the fires
of War.
Secondly, you remark that you envy Aegis both for
his power and for his "having reached the sort of moral
nirvana necessary to justify such things in one's own
mind." I didn't quite catch what these "things" you
envy Aegis for being able to justify are. His realm of
War itself?
On a sidenote, are there truly many that act
without feeling justification for their actions?
Regards,
Shakti Devi.
