Dearest friends,
I would like to thank everyone that cared for and looked over dear
Kazin, and it is for you friends that I am glad to announce his full
recovery. His sickness of mind seemed to be of magical or even perhaps
divine origin. It still remains a mystery. The circumstances of his
recovery seem to be quite mundane though there is an extrordinary element.
I was watching over him and he awakened as if from a nightmare, ranting
and raving about dragons. I calmed him and promised him a story, like I
might do for a child. The story I related to him dealt with a dragon. It
wasn't a story I had written, it was a story I had dreamed one night after a
visit from the Sight. At the conclusion of the story, he awoke, the mantle of
his sickness lifted. In conversation afterwards, we descovered a link between
the story I told him and an element of his past. Indeed, we believe that it
was the story itself which held the key to his cure. We hope to investigate
the matter more and perhaps discover the secret which shrouds Kazin's lineage.
But that is neither here nor there, its cause for celebration, dearest Kazin
is well and good. Indeed, even as I write this letter, he is bounding about
with those brutes in the FreeForAll.
