Peace?Here?

I hate to be the cynical one(or rather, one of several), but with all
of the personal feuds between the two sides, it seems unlikely that
absolute peace could be accomplished. The war is not separate blocks of
black and white, but rather is more like a bottle with black and white liquids
mixed together in it
virtually impossible to voluntarily stop mixing as a whole.
By the same token, the morality of individuals on both sides can shift
from the deepest black, or the purest white, to shades of gray through the
mixing(representing conflict in this metaphor) of the two. To those who
claim that the Church is full of hypocrits, note that they are setting out
to win a war, and perfect practice of honor and compassion cannot be insured
by all individuals involved, due to the overriding influence of their emotions
and of personal vendettas. With some individuals(note that I use no specific names
, as it is not my place to point fingers or exact judgement), they must nearly
become what they believe they are facing: monsters.
Also note that I said 'what they believe'. Not all Ashtanites are monsters, nor are
all Shallamese the paragons of virtue. Anyhow, I've gone off on a bit of a tangent
on that one. I merely made an observation, one which I hope offends no one on either
side(as it was not intended to do so).

Tread the paths of Knowledge, friend, for they are the most brightly lit of all.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Glacian, in the year 256 AF.
