Though you know me not, I am a paladin and wish to rebut your statement to the Lady Aldair. This is in no way a suggestion that you are wrong or evil for I do not know you and so cannot say.

I read and reread your post seeking to find knowledge of some corruption that must be fixed in our quest for righteousness and good. I say "our" meaning the church though I strongly support these things on my own. What I found, or think I have found, is that you are a bit disgruntled. You feel the shrines are an inconvenience and aggravation. They almost certainly are to some. As are the chariots lying about and ents that wander through causing "accidentally mishaps" and providing transportation to those who do harm.


It also seems you feel the shrines lack the embodiment of the very thing they should stand for and defend. Perhaps you knew of an era where knights were unjust, loosely giving their word and breaking it, wreaking as much havoc as those they have vowed to stop and seeking an unholy dominion.

I understand and echo your concern. I would be loath to become one with an order that could not in honesty state and defend its ideas. Indeed, one who has to defend its actions against its ideas. This is why I post.

Forgive me, I know I overstep, however, it seems that you know a bit of the church and have had some experience. It seems that experience may have been less honourable than perhaps you thought it might. Perhaps you were Priest or Paladin and found your very ideas compromised. Else, why state that you defile shrines because they do not what they are supposed to do? It seems to me you have been misled or knew of a time when such things as you mentioned happened. That may have been, I do not discount your memory. However, I am a part of the Church now, in its present form. I can tell you, though my word means little to you, I am certain, that change is coming from within.

All things the church was to stand for and uphold will come to pass. All things the Lady Aurora has so dreamt of will come to pass. Pax cannot come without change. Perhaps we should be thanking you. (though not so much*tiny smile*)


You have forced us with your outdated ideas and statements which have become slander due the old tower crumbling with a new, brighter one in it's place to become the united and holy, righteous and good defenders we are meant to be.

I would that you would respond to me to discuss further your ideas in this matter. Please note, "discuss" in it's present form does not mean "dismember newbie".
