actually, everyone...this is just something I'm not sure about...

Lady Miramar,
This post isn't intended to be for Ankah Lena's situation, it's just a question which surfaced in my mind when reading the last few posts.

Suppose I were to join a Divine Order, thinking that I honestly believed in everything that Order represented. Suppose for years I find life good, I find contentment in that Order. Then suppose I slowly begin to doubt, until I no longer gain satisfaction upholding that Order's values, until I no longer believe in the Code for Life I chose so many years before.
If such a situation were to happen, it would name me as having made a poor decision in the beginning, but being mortal, wrong decisions are made daily. Would it be acceptable to leave an Order under those circumstances? Would a Divinity hold a person to their oaths in such a situation? I know that an oath is an oath, but still...
Would a Divinity want a person in their Order who didnt believe in what the Order represented?

Just wondering...
