Greetings.

I'm afraid you may have misunderstood the point of my post.
My question was not in regards to discord, what Occultists have
done in the past, or an attempt to "argue" in any manner. My
inquiry was meant in a philosophical spirit, regarding the
common inference of "good" from "order".

On the matter of certain debates that seem to be repeated
over and over (and over) again, I can certainly understand the
annoyance. They go on, seemingly endless, with neither side
ever seeming to budge.

However, as Sadie stated not long ago on this board, the
point perhaps is not to declare one side the winner, but to help
each other broaden our perspectives, to open and foster
communication. Surely others have debated long on the
same topics - but they were not us, and it is hard to open
up a multi-sided line of communication with the past.

That said, let me clarify that I do not mean we should
blatantly disregard the existence of past debates on the
same topics. It is wise to study them before spouting
off, and I try to do so (although with the thousands of
posts here, I may miss or forget a number.)

Regards,

Shakti Devi.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Miraman, in the year 254 AF.
