Sorry we haven't had much time to talk lately, hopefully we'll be able to soon.
I wince every time I hear anyone say Occultists are Evil.
In the sense that a guild of Chaos has chosen to align itself with Ashtan, a city renowned for freedom and known for housing the Evil guild of the Infernals, yes, we have an Evil tenor.
It suits our purposes to be free, and to fight against what you term "Good" because "Good" is what cast us out. To simplify it -smirk-: You started it.
Within the teachings of young priests is the lesson warning them of the terrible Occultists, with our evil magicks. The Light Church set out to destroy that knowledge. We merely protect what is ours.
Chaos is both Good and Evil, and the people in it can use it how we see fit. The irony is that within the Light Church lies a large amount of Chaos. Not within the teachings or ideals, perhaps, but certainly within the members. It's a tired argument, and we've all heard it, but the fact remains that Sarapis reminds us each time we pray at His throne that Chaos lies within us all. Are you ashamed of that, Israfel? And if you are, should you be?
I am not going to change your mind, any more than you will change mine. I suppose that's not really the point. My purpose is to enlighten you and perhaps change your way of thinking, so that you'll better see my perspective... to listen to you, and perhaps better see your perspective.
