Not bad, but you overlooked a few important facts.
While I do believe shrines are simply war machines more than they are a way for you to sincerely want to honor the gods, I do not believe that all members of the Church are close-minded and deserve to die. In fact, I have known many members of the Church that I truly admire and wish only that they had more power to get things done so they could purge the Church of its problems more efficiently. As for me wishing them all to die, that is false: if I truly wished for all churchies to die, I would at the least make more attempts at their lives instead of just posting away on this board.
I think you have to abandon personal beliefs to be a scholar? I don't know where this comment came from, but I believe in keeping an open mind, getting my facts straight before opening my mouth, and trying to put myself in another's shoes. I have tried my best to do these three things throughout my life, and I am attempting to do it now.
Concerning your "statistic": first of all, I don't even believe your statistic is true, and I can name many Churchies that have forsaken the Church and come to us for admittance. *grin* Not all are as popular as Dalamar, Israfel, but they still exist.
Secondly, what if it was true? Does it necessarilly mean I'm dead wrong and you're dead right just because there might be a few more people that think our way of life is "too hard" or that it is immoral than there are Churchies that believe the Church is wrong? I'm sorry, but I DESPISE it when those who lack a really good point find themselves forced to generalize so people will think they have a point.
Finally, you seem to be taking every post of mine as a threat or as a list of insults directed at you. You seem to be forgetting that this all started when you spoke lies about the Occultists and you couldn't stand to be spoken to as if you were *gasp* an equal!, when I tried to correct you. Understand this: I do not write these posts to simply show everybody that Occultism is right and the Church is wrong and deserves to burn. I write these posts when I see the bullshit about you spew about Occultists all over this board. I'm tired of you trying to tell ME what Occultism is. If you'd like to badmouth the Occultists, at least make sure you have intelligent points and you don't conveniently forget the facts.

P.S. to Caled - Occultism centers around Chaos, Necromancy and Tarot being two ways we defend ourselves or harm our enemies. This is the reason we were patroned by Eris, the Goddess of Chaos and not Twilight, who now holds control of the realm of Death. If you do not believe me I suggest you read other sources of information instead of just listening and automatically accepting what's most convenient or popular. If you honestly think you can try to tell me, an Occultist, what Occultism is, then please consider the matter more carefully.
P.P.S. to everybody - I am NOT trying to point out Israfel's faults just for the hell of it. I'm simply trying to help him and a few of you out there understand who and what they're referring to when Occultism is brought up in a post.
