You make a good point. This isn't too say I admit the Church to not be hypocritical; there have of course been many other examploes that we don't need to get into now, and Israfel's action portray the exact opposite of what he seeks (peace, no hate, etc). But you still have not answered the question I find to be more important: since Sarapis created chaos and evil and does not lay judgement on them, do mere mortals have a right to "stamp out", as you say, His creation and make judgement where Sarapis seems to believe no judgement is warranted?
And as for this Spawn deal... I'm no more thrilled about it than anyone else. In fact, I probably am more against it than Israfel or anyone else. That's my wife!!! But you don't see me killing Lemon or any other women who have been spoken to. It's what the sacred Spawn has said, not her. (It has spoken with many women, actually.) Though I will be 100% against this, I will not kill innocent women because they were sent tells by the Spawn and possibly given instructions. If *any* higher power or prophet, such as Aurora or Averos, sends messages to you, Israfel, that I do not agree with and you tell people that message, do I have a right to kill you for being spoken to? No. In fact, though I don't subscribe to it, such action violates the Holy Codex's rule on murder. Thus it is good you did not succeed in killing Lemon in retaliation for another being's action lest you be found guilty of violating the Holy Codex's rule on murder; excommunicated would have been the order of the day according to Church law (I thi
Looks like that last line got cut off. It went: "(I think; you guys do get excommunicated for violating the Codex, right?)"
