To take a briefly OOC tone, as one of the major 'players' in the recent Rift plot I feel I must apologize in the manner in which it ended. We as gods failed in our task to think everything through and as such your playing experience was lessened. I am sincerely sorry for that as we engage in these plots for the player's enjoyment and not in order for you to be frustrated or for you to feel 'cheated' by the outcome. I would simply ask that you remember that for all of our In-Role arrogance at times, we are human after all and do make mistakes. We however learn from mistakes as well and will do our best to see such an unfortunate end to the next plot does not occur.
