Greetings, Archprelate. A question. . .in your posting you say that the
Church only honours "the gods the church support (sic), namely the
gods of righteousnous, good light and order, Lady Aurora, Lady Miramar,
Lady Gaia and Lord Deucalion." This being in contradistinction, I assume,
to the gods you mention as ruling the domains of Evil, Night and Chaos.
I am curious though, at the non mention of others of My Brothers
and Sisters, and Myself. Since the leadership of the Church is so adept at
the theologial categorization of My Family, where do you place Aegis,
Lupus, Lorielan, or Ourania? What of the Lord of Peace, Oneiros?
Not, mind you, that I seek to be honoured in any fashion by the Church.
Your words regarding judgment based on actions are quite well taken.
While there are many honourable members of the Church, worthy of
respect, it has not been My observation that the institution itself is
one with which I would wish to be associated without reservation.
That is, however an irrelevant personal observation, not to mention
a moot point, since I have been snubbed anyway. I bear no ill will
toward the Church or its adherents. Remember though, the ancient
tale of the uninvited fairy.
