Today, the 4th of Scarlatan, 190 years after the fall of the Selucarian
Empire, Servelan de Vermiis, leader of the Occultists, student of of chaos,
and delver into the unknown Ascended to Divinity. For years she had
researched chaos and methods of contacting the Unnamable One: the father of
Humanity. Finally, she hit upon the method. Upon melding with the Idol of
Madness, her mind cracked and chaos swept across the land, causing upheavals
all across reality itself. Her strength of will was great enough, however,
to contain this power and thus was born Eris, Goddess of Chaos.

A hundred trillion voices on a billion planets and a thousand planes of existence
