Peace

Several messages I have recently read have brought the message
of Claryssa (sp?), the Lily of Peace to my mind.
I have spent much time over the years, burrowing through
ancient scrolls, seeking answers that are beyond most other's
interests.
I have spoken to other Achaeans who were Claryssa's contemoraries,
and they agreed that Claryssa did indeed fight in "FFA"s.
She fought to defend herself. There is a big difference between
defending one's self through defensive martial actions (ideally
running once you are able, ie. the enemy is incapacitated) and
allowing others to hunt you for sport because they feel you
will not fight back.
She sought these "FFA"s to prepare her for potential attacks
on her person. Sought is not the right word: Entered would be more appropriate.
Claryssa was a bastion of non-aggresstion. Would that her
presence were still felt, and I might meet her.
I had a dream once that all might find some degree of
acceptance with The Great Achaean Library.
In the present light of this endevour's great delay,
I still continue to not fight any fight. I couldn't
kill a rat if I wanted, but that's beside the point.
A wealth of Achaean experiance is lost on those who think
first with their sword, much more hovers below the depths of
existance, and that is what I think Claryssa wished to express.
I hope that MY young Achaean dream might someday come
to be.
