The destruction of the Statue, and the Tsol'teth

The mysterious statue is gone from the face of Sapience, destroyed
by a bolt of black liquid fire, apparently created by Twilight.
The tablet also vanished only moments later, ascending the heavens
once more.
Myself, Urlotus, and Chromos, the three named by Averroes as "prophets"
then sought him out, along with many others, to see what he knew
of the events that had just occured. After a brief conversation, he
entered a trance-like state, and appeared to serve as a medium for
a very powerful being. The first whispered word was "Tsol'teth",
followed by "Lord Twilight defeated us, for now. Rejoice, swine,
for we _will_ find a way to come back!".
Averroes was weakened by the prophecy, and offered no further
comment, but with the intent to discover more on the nature
of the Tsol'teth, and their involvement, Urlotus, Chromos,
and I set out on what I can only refer to as a competition to
see which of us was to hold to the title of "Most Foolish Prophet
ever born". We discovered some information, but it is sketchy,
and contradicts itself, so I will refrain from commenting on it
here. I would, however, like to thank Reznor, as his assistance
was not only timely, but also essential.
However, urged by Candlemas to research my history, I looked up
the Black Wave that destroyed the Selucarian Empire, and found
a reference to the return of the Tsol'teth.
Here, I make a transcription of an incomplete prophecy written
by Lehrinas, a prophet of note, who died in the process of
completeing it. It was later translated from High Tsol'aa, a
tounge I have no knowledge of, to this form.
The tide recedes, the centuries pass,
The young grow old, time forgets.
Silence listens, dark creates.
The world itself's a looking glass,
The numbers break from finite sets.
Chance and will battle fate.
The dark tide rises once again to slaughter all who dream of light
And saints and sinners join their friends to war again against the night
And Seleucar's redemption comes to those who fight the holy fight
And all shall pay the freight of death to match their sins, however slight.
The wave of dark shall strike again, and all shall bow in terror.
The mad, cold ones who fought before
Are Masters of the darkness still
And never shall they find their rest
Unless this power is invoked:
First, the heroes must take heed
And arm themselves full strong for war
And then must venture nobly forth
To find the Dark World's glowing door
To save the soul of Sapience's light
They must recover -
The prophecy ends there, leaving us with no idea of what we must
recover, or even reference to the current events, but perhaps it
can shed some light on future mysteries, for the present is more
than confounding enough for me.
Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Daedalan, in the year 247 AF.
