The church would gain from having a powerful shrine placed somewhere
in Ashtan that people pass, such as the Gates, it is of no benefit
having a weak one placed on a remote beach in Ashtan.
There would be little point in Miramars order placing the shrine to
bring the church into the hostilities, as Twilight already identified
the church as being one of her allies, thus we were already involved.
So having shown the futility of your arguments I would ask again, who
benefits? I still see only one order benefiting from Ashtans involvement
and its not the church!
