Isildur: I salute you Arch Prelate. Posting a Code of Conduct, (such as it was, for I realize your men are not sworn to follow it and suffer no consequences for any shortcomings) was putting your neck on the block as it were. When the Paladins scream that the Infernals do not keep our Code, I have often replied that people living in the glass house of the basillica should try to at least HAVE a code. This is an excelent step in the right direction, but to be sure, your message basket will begin to overflow with sniveling children pointing fingers at so and so. I honestly wish you luck on your new effort. No sarcasm intended.
Israfel: I do not make a habit of talking to "the little people", but you did bring up a point which I have yet to address in the public forum... why did I change Patrons for the Infernals. You ask if it has to do with celibacy. Actually, no. I have a responsibility to my guild, and the guilds Patron. My responsibility to the guild is certainly to look after their best interests. Sartan has been very busy, since the day He inguilded me and started the Infernals. Aegis made a gracious offer to be an active Patron and see to the needs of the guild, and I accepted. I asked for an audience with Sartan many times regarding this change and He obviously had more important things to see to. Aegis has also become quite busy, but I am told that He will be returning presently. Sartan is a very big part of the Infernals, still. We all hold Him in the utmost respect and hope He is well, wherever He is. Hail Sartan!
Everyone: the debate on the shrines.. Isildur says they are inert, not causing any trouble unless a church member manipulates them. "Shrines dont kill people, churchies kill people". The Infernals and the Occultists are currently in a war to eliminate the shrines. We can rid the land of shrines, we can not rid the land of church members. This is the best we can do and in fact, with the great help recently from many other Ashtanites, we are quite sucessful. Even shrines within the walls of Shallam are falling and I feel a great sense of satisfaction. I have spoken with Morlana, and we are willing to consider a cesation of hostilities, which I will post on in the next post.
