The Current State of War Between our Guilds

Caerid,

I hereby publicly refute your interpretation of the Master's declaration of war. Fogged through the haze of your towering ego, which also obfuscates your highly selective sense of personal honour, you would attempt to take some sort of misguided credit for the actions which have led to the current state of war between our respective peoples.

Your personal actions merely were (and continue to be) cited as the epitomy of the sort of behaviour that has caused the Iron Citadel to suspend certain gentlemanly practices, to further the Iron Citadel's end of doing everything within its power to see that those ne'er-do-wells who would abuse their various abilities are left without reward for such disgraceful endeavours.

And while it is neither my place to publicly agree or disagree with my Master, this much I can surely state: Due to my own personal experiences with you, and my observations of your "honourable when I'm at no risk, cowardly cur when my life is in danger" manner of living, it is with more than the usual enthusiasm that I gladly take up my sword against both you, and the Guild that harbours your kind.

I would, howe'er, agree with one statement you have made, in a rather round-about way. Many good men and women have died needlessly in this long and bloody conflict, and I dearly wish that it were not so. Further, I cannot, for the life of me, fathom why these persons continue to fight to defend you, and those like you, while you sit graced within the protection of Shallam and watch them suffer for practices which have been yours, among others.

To those afore-mentioned fine men and women, I offer a warrior's salute, for both their courage, and their loyalty, mis-guided though it may be.

But for you, Caerid, I wish nothing more than that the wretched plague you, and those like you, have brought to Sapience should be revisited upon you ten-fold, and I will continue to fight to my final breath to try and make it so.
