Shrines are a problem because of several things. 1. They are
used as a weapon to fight people of different belief from that
of the church. 2. They are used to quickly launch an assualt
from a distance and then return to the safety of their home. And
3. The unleashes hellish evils upon any who happens to be enemied
to a member of the church using the shrines. If shrines were
used as you say there would be no debate, the simple truth and fact
is that the church uses shrines as a weapon and places them strategically
to maximize their use, if they were merely symbols of devotion to
be prayed at, they would remain in the Basicilla where the members
of the church could gather and worship. The fact is no matter
how many times a church member says they are just for devotion or
attempts to claim the shrines as peaceful the fact will remain
they are mainly used as an instrument of war, and any church member
that denies that is a liar.
