I wish to offer an oppinion on the matter of which you spoke. Though, as you, I only know what I've been told (in this case by you).
From what you said happened, Dalamar, at least in the interaction with you wife, was in the right. From what you said, he killed a Paladin, and your wife stole the body. From what I've seen, when someone makes a kill, both bashing and otherwise, the body is theirs to take. Which makes perfect sence as they obviously put some effort into it. As you said, your wife took it from him.
In some people's oppinion, the theft of the rewards of a kill is more than enough reason to kill someone, especially in an attempt to get it back. And as I've seen many Church members do it, and even been told by them that it is a 'just' way of acting, so Dal didn't seem to do anything that the good and noble church of Achaea wouldn't have done.
There was a part of your post that was unclear. I was lead to believe that Dalamar went to your wife seeking the return of the body. But she wouldn't give it back, he tried to force her (perfectly reasonable, as she stole it from him).
Anyway, if any of this is wrong (as both you nor I were there), I do appologize to your wife. But from your own words, all save perhaps the previous paragraph seem perfectly in order. Just my oppinion.
Take care,
-Tim
