Erm... Kona?
Molotov was only saying that Ashtan is _considered_ bad, and that shallam is _considered_ good because thats the way the cities are portrayed... I mean the church is supposed to represent "good" and it is in Shallam... and Ashtan is, well generally considered the "haven of evil" because of the guilds it harbours. Seriously...
He wasnt making any statements about the people in the cities... he wasnt even saying anything bad about either city... he was just stating the way each is protrayed... Hell, he even admitted that he liked a couple of infernals (whom it is safe to assume are ashtanians, if he has met them only once).
So in other words you post confuses me... you come out attacking Molotov... why? Well, I'm not sure, really...
Let me quote what Help File 12.2 says about Ashtan....
While the citizens of Ashtan are not all evil, certainly it tends to be;dominated by those more interested in conquest than partnership.
Now, this does seem to support what Molotov said... now doesnt it?
And Forgetting all this... the point Molotov was trying to make was that Ashtan and Shallam are opposed to each other... so your arguement appears to have gone off on a total tangent... touching, in fact, an arguement we are all tired of... that same tired old discussion of good and evil.
