Borknagar, you are scum. I left the Church and Shallam a long time ago, and made up a story about it (public post 2389) but the truth is I had been gone for 20 years and no longer had any friends left there, and the large changes the Paladins, who were once called Templars, had gone through did not suit me. But to see you make friends with an entire city of mostly peace-loving people who I have admitedly fought against more for excitement than anything else, well it disgusts me.
As an Ashtan citizen I would just like to state that I am going to spit on Borknagar every time I see him, and if he tries to stop me then he can have fun dying in the 37 most painfull ways that the Shadowsnakes have taught me in the art of killing.
Gijan is correct is stating that no one will ever trust you with anything, and I am sure that even Mistral despises you deep down inside for what you have done, as do all other citizens of Ashtan. Were it up to me, I would have you exiled on pain of death from all three cities and the forests, and Ashtan would return the gold. And to the Infernals, isn't this dirty fighting? I initially left the Paladins with the intent of being among the first of the "Deathknights" with my friend Strife, who was also instrumental in my deciding that I would be happier in Ashtan. If the Infernals were to convince Ashtan to return Shallam's gold, that would seal the subject of their honor code once and for all as their being the most honorable people in Achaea. I think that's worth, what was it, 80,000 gold? I heard that it wasn't even that much.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Chronos, in the year 244 AF.
